Joy! The first pleasant summer evening in I can't remember how long. Sophie and I sat on the porch swing, and on a whim, went for an evening walk. We walked to Trinity and watched the kids playing soccer. Gorgeous sunset. Princess Sophie was carried back home (oh well, Mama can use the exercise) but I still think she will sleep soundly tonight.

She can sing her favorite songs! On our walk I started singing, "woke up this morning, smiled at the rising sun," and she chimed in, "three little birds on my doorstep." It sounds so cute when she sings it.

Sophie playing in our front yard before Mass, and in the church garden afterward. We had a really nice day today. In the afternoon, we went to the grocery store, and went to visit the lobsters in the tank, as usual. But today, for the first time, she named one "Sophie."

Tia Marta bought Sophie these elephant PJs a few weeks ago. They are Sophie's new favorites. She's all about the boy-style animal pajamas.

Little girl on the go! Y'all know Sophie loves to "go to the bye-bye!" Here we are about to set off a couple of weekends ago to run errands. She's got her cool shades, Barbie cell phone, and House of Dereon t-shirt we picked up on clearance at TJ Maxx for $2.

I haven't posted anything in a long time, but I'll put up some other recent photos now!
