"Checks"

Here's another picture of Sophie playing with friends last Saturday.  Dr. Sophie has a toy medical kit, with a stethescope, thermometer, etc., and she loves to play with it.  She calls it "checks" (as in, "a check-up at the doctor's") and she was so excited on Saturday when she found Lily Ottmers medical kit.  Normally, she only gets to give "checks" to Mommy, Daddy, and all her babies and stuffed animals, but Saturday she got to give "checks" to other kids!

On Saturday, my friend Abi organized a wonderful brunch for a group of girlfriends and the children.  Here is Sophie decorating Valetin's Day cupcakes with Lily Ottmers, TJ Martin, and Ray Martin.

This morning, Sophie was in the bathroom with me while I was getting ready for work.  I put on Randy's bathrobe, because it was the closest, and put it on.  Sophie touched the hem, and told me, "No Mommy that's Daddy's."  So, I put my own robe on, and she said, "Yep, that's Mommy's."
